Working alongside our partners AECOM, IPW… was appointed by Miral Asset Management to deliver a detailed analysis of the feasibility of a major new sports centre at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
Our work included consultation and research to inform the development of a recommended facility mix and scale, identify the optimum operator strategy, and advise on the operational performance of the facility based on significant research and benchmarking.
This particularly included analysis of the local and regional sports market and facilities, looking at the key operators, pricing/programming/access considerations and membership and throughput projections, resulting in developing a series of alternative facility mix options to meet the project’s strategic goals.
We subsequently prepared detailed throughput and financial projections, to inform the client’s investment decision.
