Project Details

West Ward Works, a 250,000ft2 (±23,000m2) 19th century mill and former DC Thomson printing works is in the process of being transformed into one of the largest creative spaces in the UK.

As part of this repurposing, IPW were engaged by a private organisation to review the redevelopment plans, and assess their suitability for a variety of different event uses.

The desktop review identified the optimum size and technical ability of a variety of spaces, and in particular their suitability for live music and business events. Alongside the flexible exhibition and festival spaces within West Ward Works, we also investigated the adjacent Arnott’s store building.
