IPW… completed a headline feasibility appraisal for a 6-8,000 capacity sports and entertainment arena in the Valais canton of Switzerland.
Working with local partners, our appointment included an analysis of the local and regional competitive market, attendance trend and demographic data analysis, promoter and operator consultation, development of a facility mix and indicative design, and preparation of an indicative funding mix based on enabling development and public funding.
Our work particularly explored the commercial and technical implications for a tenant ice hockey team for potential participation in the Kontinental Hockey League or National League A.
