Project Details

IPW’s team members were involved with the Singapore Sports Hub project from initial feasibility up to the appointment of the preferred consortium and financial close.

Our role included feasibility, business planning, event programming, finance and procurement input. Some of our team were onsite in Singapore for extended periods during the procurement stages.

The project is a ground-breaking Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with an extensive range of facilities including: 55,000 seat national stadium, 12,000 capacity arena, 6,000 capacity aquatics centre, multi-sport indoor arena and elite performance centre, watersports centre, Singapore Youth Olympic Museum and Singapore Sports Museum, Sports Hub Library, community sports facilities, Kallang Wave Mall and associated commercial development.

The Singapore Sports Hub officially opened in July 2015 and has hosted a range of major events including: 2015 South East Asian Games, HCBC Singapore Rugby Sevens and the International Champions Cup (football).
