IPW… recently advised a major Korean developer on the feasibility of delivering a high quality entertainment venue as a potential anchor for one of the largest mixed-use projects in the country (in the Seoul metro region).
Our detailed analysis, delivered both on the ground in Seoul and through workshops and study visits in the UK, included extensive primary and secondary research and promoter/ operator engagement coupled with international benchmarking and detailed business planning to identify the optimum concept given the client’s wider drivers, delivering a completely new and high-quality venue concept catering to the needs of audiences and events in a maturing international market.
Based on a unique flexible and scalable configuration created by our team, the venue’s primary auditorium will have a maximum capacity of up to 5,000 and be targeted at attracting concerts, family shows, musical theatre, other entertainment events, conferences and exhibitions, while driving value for the client’s adjacent assets.
The venue concept is currently being analysed further as part of the client’s masterplan optimisation process.
