IPW… was appointed to provide demand and capacity modelling advice to Everton as the Club moves forward with the delivery of its proposed new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock.
This important analysis projected latent demand based on historic Club data, the size of the catchment area, a comprehensive review of the New Stadium Effect in England and other Premier League benchmark data.
We ran a series of analytical models, including regression analysis, to identify the anticipated uplift achievable in a new stadium, and an optimum capacity range based on a projected average attendance and a peak game uplift.
We also provided headline analysis of the potential seating mix composition (from GA to Premium) to guide the next stages of design.
