Our team advised on the feasibility and development of a business case for Liberty Stadium. Working in partnership with Donaldsons (now Cushman & Wakefield), the team identified and delivered the enabling retail and commercial development which funded the Stadium, prepared the business plan, and set up the SPV for the ownership and stadium management and operation (comprising the City Council, Swansea City and Ospreys).
We subsequently supported the development of the commercial rights packages on behalf of the SPV, packaging the inventory and approaching prospective partners.
The funding solution unlocked the Stadium, which has had a dramatic impact on Swansea City’s success, aspirations and profile, and delivered significant economic impact to the city and region.
