Project Details

IPW worked closely with Hartlepool Borough Council to devise a series of leisure and culture venues to anchor their visitor provision at the attractive marina development.

The venues were intended to reflect the heritage of the town and root it in a sense of place, but to focus the ambition of the town and the Council in regenerating the economy and the profile of Hartlepool as a visitor destination.

We master-planned the Jackson’s Landing quay with a range of museum, leisure, water-sports, and cultural provision, alongside new public realm interventions, and allowing space for private sector development in the future.
