Project Details
Our team developed the strategic plan for the new City Halls building and then managed the delivery of the venue, including chairing a tripartite Board of the project partners, Glasgow City Council, BBC Scotland and the Glasgow Music Trust – the venue operator.
This included overseeing the venue design, construction, funding, fundraising and corporate board management.
The deal that we brokered resulted in a new home for the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and a much-improved venue for Celtic Connections folk festival in the Fruitmarket.
The project was one of many that were delivered from our initial work with the Council on the Strategic Review of their leading 16 cultural assets.
