IPW… was appointed by a partnership of Dundee City Council, Leisure & Culture Dundee and Northwood Trust, to undertake a feasibility study into the capital and revenue costs associated with building a second ice pad adjacent to and as part of Dundee Ice Arena.
IPW… undertook a detailed market analysis for ice and health & fitness facilities in the region, and undertook consultations with users of the facility, city stakeholders and National Governing Bodies.
IPW… recommended the facility mix for both an additional curling and Olympic pad to the Ice Arena.
Our team assessed the deliverability of both schemes in relation to business planning, capital costs, funding options, as well as site, transport and planning factors.
