Project Details
IPW… was appointed by Battersea Power Station Development Company to advise them on the development of a range of event spaces and visitor attractions being developed inside the Power Station.
The iconic spaces included a multipurpose 1,500 capacity venue, the Chimney Lift Experience – a glass viewing platform and visitor attraction created within one of the iconic chimneys – and a smaller 200 capacity unique event space located in the sensitively refurbished original Power Station Control Room.
IPW… also advised on additional complementary event spaces including the Riverfront Park and the Village Hall.
We undertook supply and demand analysis against key potential uses, developed the business plans, completed soft market testing and provided feedback on the space layouts/ adjacencies.
IPW… subsequently introduced the opportunity to the international and domestic operator market and led the management of the operator selection tender process to select partners for all of the event spaces/ attractions.
