Project Details
Our team was appointed by Aberdeen FC (alongside our partners Gardiner & Theobald and Holmes Miller) to prepare a detailed feasibility study on the overall deliverability of a replacement for Pittodrie Stadium.
We completed a comprehensive assessment of the optimum capacity for the new ground, based on projecting latent ticket demand and capacity considerations using attendance data from new stadia opened in the UK over a 20 year period.
We also consulted with local stakeholders and reviewed key demographic and local infrastructure considerations to test the potential to create a ‘Living Stadium’.
We subsequently completed a detailed business plan including matchday and non-matchday revenue streams, to sit alongside the wider team’s design work and cost projections.
